Description
My inspiration for this contemporary stylized painting came from a photographic image taken by Erik Peters while on a trip in Northern Ontario, entitled "Canadian Sentinenl". The photograph has a lone pine, rocks, and a setting sun. This is my interpretation of the windswept lone pine tree with roots firmly gripping the rocks as the sky changes colour during sunset.
