There are several outstanding Art Sculptures alongside the walkway in Confederation Park, Burlington, Ontario. Bill Le Blanc is the sculptor. They are carved atop stumps of poplar trees which are common in the area. The sculptures only last 10 - 15 years old. Unfortunately it seems that no one has put even a wood preserver on them, but what's worse, vandals have kicked and hacked at them. Sometimes Bill comes back to repair what he can. Many of them have almost completely decayed. They grew from a seed into a poplar tree and when life seem finished for the poplar tree, this Spirit arose from its roots. Thank you Bill Le Blanc.
